Community United Methodist Preschool
Enrollment
The Basics
Community United Methodist Preschool is a non-sectarian, academic preschool. Children of all backgrounds and faiths are welcome.
We offer flexible enrollment options, and parents may enroll their child for two, three, four, or five days a week. Unlike other programs, parents may choose which days their child will attend when enrolled. So, if a strict MWF schedule doesn't work for you, you have the option to choose those days that work with YOUR schedule.
Of course enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis, and when a specific day is full - that day will no longer be available as a choice. You may ask to be placed on the waiting list for any day that is full, and we will fill any openings from this list.
It is recommended that all 4 year olds attend a minimum of three days a week to best prepare for kindergarten, but for those families that require a two day schedule, we are happy to work with you.

Enrollment Requirements
Community United Methodist Preschool is licensed by the state of Michigan and adheres to all basic enrollment requirements.
- All children must be age 3 or 4, on or before December 1st of the current calendar year.
- All children must be up to date on immunizations prior to attending school.
- Children whose parents oppose immunizations must have a notarized waiver on file.
- All children must be potty trained.
Parents who wish to enroll their child must contact the school to register for classes. A non-refundable $35 registration fee is required at the time of registration, and guarantees the child a place in class, assuming all of the above requirements are met.
A parent orientation is held approximately one week before school starts. At least one parent must attend this orientation, turn in immunization records, and complete all state mandated paperwork. The first months tuition payment is also due at this time.
And remember.... choosing a preschool and enrolling your child for their very first school experience can seem a bit overwhelming. But our teachers are always available (year round!) to help you with recommendations and enrollment options. Just give us a call, or shoot us an email, with any questions or concerns you may have.
